How do I apply the nail strips?
Our nail strips are very easy to apply! Simply wash your hands, position the strip on your nail, & file off the excess.

How do I remove the nail strips?
There are 2 methods we recommend for removal:
Soak a little bit of nail polish remover for about a minute and rub off like regular nail polish (We recommend Mineral Fusion Nail Polish Remover) -OR- Wrap your nails in aluminum foil with cotton balls soaked in nail polish remover for 5-10 minutes and then use a cuticle stick to break the seal at the cuticle, and gently push the wraps off starting at the cuticle. You always want to be gentle when removing nail polish strips, so that you do not damage or break your nails.
How long will the nail strips stay on my nails?
This will depend on the type of nail strip you purchase and how you care for your nails. We have different types for different budgets. Please see our "Types" link.
What are the types of strips?
The types of strips are Olivia Deluxe, Olivia Premium, Mega Premium, Premium, Custom, Standard, Basic Special, Basic, Petites, Minis and Pedicures.

Are these Real Nail Polish?
Yes, Color Crush Nail Polish Strips are Real Nail Polish.
Are these "10 free"?
Yes they are "10 free," they do NOT have any of the 10 following harmful ingredients:

What are the Ingredients of Color Crush Nail Polish Strips?
Do these come off in water?
When applied properly these do not come off in water. Be sure to let the adhesive set for 4-8 hours after applying before submerging into water. We recommend applying in the evening before bed so that the adhesive can set.
Do I need to put a base coat under these?
Most people do not need to put a base coat under these as long as you prepare your nails well. You must push back your cuticles well, and clean your nails and nails. In rare circumstances some people have oily nail bed or have a little but of trouble getting some of the wraps to stick, based on different body chemistry. For those cases, we recommend using Orly Bonder Base Coat. It is a rubberized base coat that grasps the wrap to hold it down to the nail and it also keeps the oils from the nail and cuticle away from the wrap. Click the link to view more information.
Do I need to put a top coat on these?
You do need to put a top coat over all of these types except the Olivia Deluxe strips and the Olivia Premium strips. You need to make sure that you are careful to use a good quality top coat, because some top coats can eat through the wraps, or cause them to shrink up. We recommend CND Vinylux Weekly Top Coat. Can I apply these over acrylics?
Absolutely! Color Crush nail strips can be applied on top of any acrylic or gel as long as they are clean and dry!
What is an overlay?
An overlay is a nail polish strip in which part or all of the strip is clear so you can see through it. You can wear it over another set of nail polish strips so those will show through, or you can wear it alone if you want your nail to show through. Typically, the parts of the overlay that appear white are actually clear, because you are looking through the clear strips to see the white backing of the package.
Is a Mini Mani for Children?
No, Mini manis are Adult size manis that are smaller length wise than Standard strips, but just about the same size width wise. We have more information about all of our different mani types on our Types page.
What is your shipping policy and fees?

How long will it take for my order to be shipped?
All orders are shipped from our home base in California within 3 business days. Typically we ship within 1 business day, however it can take up to 3 days during times of sales and holidays. Orders with priority shipping with always be shipped as soon as possible. We know your time is valuable. Once a year we we close our office for a summer vacation, and orders during that time will be shipped upon our return from our summer holiday. However, during that time, we always post a notice of delayed shipping and give a discount on orders for your patience.
Can I get a sample of your product before I buy them?
We do not offer free samples, because we have 13 different "Types" of strips available for purchase, and samples sizes are not available for all types we have. In addition, if we custom made samples for each of the types it would cost as much as making full sets of strips. We want to be able to keep our costs down for our customers, so we prefer to just offer you low prices across the board. We are always more than happy to help you find the right type of strip that is right for your lifestyle and your budget. Also, every Tuesday we have a new type of wrap on sale, so you can take advantage of the discount codes and try different types weekly if you are not sure which one is for you.
Why do you carry so many different sizes and types of strips?
We carry 13 different "Types" of strips rather than just one type, because we like to have something for everyone. Not everyone has the same size fingernails, the same budget, or the same lifestyle. Some people change their wraps every few days, while others change their wraps every 2 weeks. We like to be like the clothing store that carries all sizes, not just Petite sizes. Our types link describes the types, and you can also click on the type names to see images of the types. Our Facebook Page has a sizing chart, showing the sizes in millimeters. We are always more than happy to help you find the right type of strip that is right for your lifestyle and your budget.
